Territory & itineraries

Camping Laguna Village is an ideal starting point to go and get familiar with the beautiful territory of Veneto. Art cities such as Venezia, Padova, Verona, Vicenza and many others, smaller but equally interesting such as Concordia Sagittaria or Bassano del Grappa, are reachable by car or public transports in a short time. At the reception you can ask information about the viable ways.
If you wish to discover the flavors of our land without leaving the campsite, we suggest you to participate to our weekly tastings of wines and typical products.

Caorle is one of the most fascinating towns of the Northern Adriatic Sea, a beautiful village which maintained its ancient wonders unaltered: colored small-sized houses, traditional trails, old fishermen’s huts with roofs of cane, a beautiful cathedral in Romanesque style and the picturesque Madonna dell’Angelo Sanctuary at the end of the cliff in contact with the sea water. Caorle has a splendid pedestrian historical center that gets lively every night between the various fish restaurants, artisan gelaterias, kiosks on the beach and characteristic shops.

For those without car, you may rent one at Auto Davanzo dealership  ( www.caorlerent.com ).

The beautiful city of Venice, well-known all over the world for its charm and uniqueness, is easily reachable from the camping in a very short time. At the reception you can have any information about how to get there:
  • By car it takes less than 1 hour.
  • Less than 1 hour by bus from Caorle with arrival in Piazzale Roma.
  • Less than two hours by bus and Punta Sabbioni motorboat with arrival in Piazza San Marco.
  • 40 minutes by train, from the Doną di Piave station (25 km far from the camping).
  • By Caorle motorboat it takes less than 2 hours leaving from the Caorle’s harbour with arrival  in Piazza San Marco (Info e bookings tel. 338-9160151).
From Punta Sabbioni you can reach Murano, Torcello and Burano, the three main islands of the Venetian lagoon.

Located between Altino and Aquileia, Iulia Concordia became a Roman colony during the Late- age. During the Late-Roman Empire period, when Diocleziano was reorganizing the warlike production to counter the barbaric advances, Concordia hosted an important factory of arrows: hence the name of Sagittaria.

In Concordia you can still admire numerous Roman finds besides the Cathedral of Santo Stefano which represents a fantastic testimony of the first Christian architecture and it is one of the most interesting archaeological sites in Northern Italy.

The beautiful Concordia is only 20 km far from Caorle: during the day you can also add a visit to Portogruaro, a medieval town of great historical charm.
